Marjorie ?Patti? Maxson, was born at Lady of Lourdes Hospital on February 6, 1924 to Mac and Grace Lloyd. She grew up on a wheat farm in Eltopia with her parents and five siblings, Josephine, Wilma, Hershel, Beth and Harold. After graduating from Pasco High School, she attended Washington State University for one year. Then she moved to Monterrey, California, and worked for United Airlines where she lived with her girlfriend, Jean. She worked for the US Army and the US Navy during World War II. She then moved back to Pasco and was married to Fred Huber, Jr. from 1946 to 1964. Patti and Fred had three children, Tim, Holly and Jeff. Patti married Dale Maxson in 1971. They were married for twenty-four years when Dale died of Alzheimer?s in 1995. Patti had a long rewarding career of over 30 years with the Department of Energy at Hanford. She was a wonderful artist and painted many beautiful pictures over the years. She thoroughly enjoyed going to her art class and socializing with everyone there. She also made many beautiful porcelain dolls for her family. She met for lunch once a month with her high school girlfriends and looked forward to their Christmas parties and her high school class reunions. Patti is preceded in death by her sisters, Jo and Beth, and her two brothers, Hershel and Harold, and by her husband, Dale. Patti leaves behind three children, Tim Huber of Pasco, Holly Erne of Sammamish and Jeff Huber of Benton City; nine grandchildren, Joel Erne, Brendan Erne, Margo Huber Frimodt, Brook Huber Pallas, David Huber, Jason Huber, Jacob Huber, Mathew Huber, Melissa Huber; and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Wilma Parmeter of Beaverton, Oregon. She was much loved by all and generous to a fault. She would have given the shirt off her back to anyone who asked. Viewing will be Friday, October 19, from 5 to 8 pm at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home 1401 S. Union, Kennewick. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 20th, at 2pm, also at Mueller?s with Interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
