Marjorie Marj Cozad was born April 16, 1934 in Lewiston, Illinois to Marion and Arnold Bordwyne. She had six brothers and two sisters. One brother, Franklin and wife Mary Anne still live in Colorado. Marj is survived by her husband of 46 years, David Cozad. Dave and Marj lived in Tri-Cities for 40 years except for a few stints living in Denver, Colorado and Vancouver, WA. Marj was an animal lover. She always had a treat for the neighborhood dogs and cats. She enjoyed watching the antics of her squirrels. Marj was always in search of a new recipe. Her favorite she would bring to the Cozad?s family gatherings. She had numerous brother and sister-in-laws John and Elmina Cozad, Dorothy and George Socha, Joann Darnel, Arlie Reginetter, Jim and Jeanne Cozad and their families who enjoyed her newest recipes. Her neighbors Stef and Marg and three children Patty, Peggy and Penny helped her cook and eat her favorite cookie recipes. Marj kept a ?stash?. She used this stash to go the casinos. She loved playing the slot machines. She seemed to always win more than lose. Dave found her ?stash? she won. We will miss you Marj. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2006 from 3p.m. to 8p.m. at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union in Kennewick. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2006 at 1p.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick.
