Marjo passed into Eternal life on 4-12-06 surrounded by family. She was born in Verdigree, Neb., on 2-6-39, the sixth child of Josephine and Willie Block. She lived in Kennewick most of her life raising two daughters, and retired from Dept. of L&I in 1996. 'Gram Cracker' greatly loved and enjoyed her grandchildren 'The Animal Crackers' and attended their various activities. She loved to read, cook and garden, and shared her knowledge with others. Mom was a unique, 'outside the box' woman and we are proud to have known and loved her. She leaves behind daughters, Julie Blankenship of NJ, and Barb Moore of Kennewick, granddaughters Ashlyn, Kara and Jessa Moore, Kelsey Marjo and Cliff Ray of Wallula, great-granddaughters Cecelia and Essa Ray. Gramma's joy will be felt when her great-grandson's Alex and Austin Ray join our family in August. Marjo is also survived by sisters: Marguerite and Bob Rosson of Kennewick, Lavonne and Austin Anderson of Kennewick, Marilyn and Jamie Jamieson of Yakima, and brothers, Roland and Louise of Spokane, Roger and Gerry of Merced, CA, Richard of Antioch, CA and Rodney and Tami Block of Richland, and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. There will be no services at her request. We invite friends and family to a celebration of Marjo's life with laughter and memories on 4-22-06 at 10:00 a.m., First Christian Church, 1921 S. Olympia, in Kennewick
