After a long battle with cancer, Marilyn passed away on November, 20, 2018 to be reunited with her husband, David. Marilyn was born on October 29, 1937 in Nephi, Utah to Paul and Cora Madsen where she joined two older sisters, Pauleen and Eileen. A younger brother, Mark, would follow. She and her husband, David K. Quigley, were married on November 5, 1955. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marilyn was a licensed beautician. She worked fulltime in this vocation to help support the family while Dave was in college. Dave's career took their family to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a few years followed by their more permanent residence in Richland, Washington. Here they remained until retirement. During this time, she also held various positions including a floral arranger at a local florist as well as retail sales at Lady Dawson. Marilyn was a creative person, always improving her surroundings and providing her family with a clean and comfortable home. She was full of energy and always "on the go". Marilyn loved playing golf and did so for many years at the Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland, Washington. Playing games, including bridge were favorite past-times. Her family will always remember her love of playing cards and games with her children and grandchildren. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Marilyn willingly gave of her time and talents. She served in many and various capacities. Dave and Marilyn have three children; Ken (Karen) Quigley, Keith (Teresa) Quigley and Cheri (Jon) Crawford. She is survived by her children as well as 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. The family would like to express appreciation for the kind and loving care of our mother by Parkview Retirement Home, Home Health and Hospice. Graveside services will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick on Friday November 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
