Margaret "Peggy" Jean Park, 67, passed away on June 14, 2026, in Pasco, Washington. Born on January 9, 1959, in Butte, Montana, Peggy lived a life marked by determination, curiosity, and deep love for her family.

Peggy was a hardworking woman who spent many years working at Grigg's Department Store, where she earned the respect of those around her through her dedication and strong work ethic. She took pride in a job well done and carried that same commitment into every aspect of her life.

Peggy had a lifelong love of learning and a fascination with ancient Egyptian history. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and visiting the zoo. She was also a fan of The Lord of the Rings and The Big Bang Theory, and she enjoyed spending quiet time watching movies and sharing her interests with those around her. Whether she was absorbed in a book, solving a puzzle, or discussing a favorite show, Peggy's curiosity and love of learning were always evident.

Above all else, Peggy loved her family. The role she cherished most was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The memories she created and the love she shared will remain with her family forever.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Elizabeth "Betty" Malone; her brother, William "Bill" Malone; her sister, Lenore Balzer; and her beloved son, Daniel Howard.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Ralph, Lindsey Park, and Alan Park; her grandchildren, Jaryn Howard, Kyle Howard, Kaytlyn Ralph, Jackie Ralph, Megan Ralph, Link Park, Finn Park, and Ella Park; her great-grandchildren, Chance, Sincere, and Blair; and her brothers, James "Jim" Malone, Robert "Bob" Malone, and Michael "Mike" Malone.

Though her family faced many difficult years following her stroke and the heartbreaking loss of her son, they choose to remember Peggy as she was throughout her life—a hardworking woman with a sharp mind, a love of books and history, and a deep devotion to the people she loved most.

Peggy's memory will live on in the stories shared by those who loved her, in the lessons she passed down, and in the generations of family who carry her legacy forward. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
