Lyle Mohr Noble went home to be with the Lord at approximately 10 a.m. on Friday morning, May 17, 2013. Reaching for his hearing aid's after answering a phone call; he never returned to the phone and was found almost immediately afterwards by his daughter-in-law, Jenny Gregg, who came to check on his well-being. Lyle passed on without suffering; still living well on his own and waiting for his daughter, Pam, from Seattle to come visit him for the weekend. For this the family is truly grateful. Lyle was a native of Omaha, Nebraska and moved to the Tri-Cities in 1978, with his wife and two other children, Natalie Gregg and Matthew Noble all preceding him in death. His survivors are his daughter, Pam Noble, of Seattle, WA; his beloved granddaughters Michele Pasma, of Corvallis, OR and Holly Clark, of Spokane, WA. Also Randy and Jenny Gregg and their children Jeremy Esmay and Joanna Gregg, of Kennewick. Lyle was a Korean War veteran; a graduate in Mathematics from the University of Omaha and a Professional Engineer graduate from the University of Nebraska. Lyle worked for both the Iowa Public Power Company and the Omaha Public Power District before moving to Washington State. In 1990, he retired from his job as Planning Engineer for the City of Richland. Lyle enjoyed his retirement with his family, also playing pool with his buddies at the Richland Community Center and with his beloved community life at First Baptist Church in Pasco. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 11am, at Riverview Heights Cemetery, 1200 S. Olympia Street, Kennewick, followed by service and luncheon at First Baptist in Pasco.
