Lyle K. Klemetsen passed away on August 25, 2026.

Lyle was born on June 10, 1935, in Badger, Minnesota to parents Klemet and Rose Klemetsen. After graduating high school, he moved to International Falls, Minnesota area where he worked as a papermaker.

On August 19, 1956, Lyle married the love of his life, Caroline. Together they welcomed six children. They were married for nearly seventy years, faithfully committed to each other, until Caroline passed away last year.

After retiring in 1997, Lyle and Caroline spent quality time together traveling across the United States in a RV for a year. They also kept busy on their small farm outside of Castle Rock, Washington, spending time outdoors and caring for their animals. Additionally, Lyle enjoyed being the official taste tester of the homemade cookies Caroline would regularly bake.

Lyle dedicated his entire life to serving our loving God Jehovah. He spent time helping others learn the truth about Jehovah and remained faithful to the end. His unwavering commitment to his faith, honest and humble character, and hard-working nature, made him an exceptional example to the ones around him.

Lyle is survived by his children: DelRoy (Sandy), LeeRoy, ElRoy (Tina), MelRoy (Diane); grandchildren: Rylan, Milleana, Zachary (Lexi), Tyerell (Janae), Shamika, Kiana (JD), Ariana, Brittany, Chandler, Dakota, Roman, Nathan, Staci, Havana, Mason; 10 great-grandchildren: Barak, Josiah, Eli, Zephlynn, Tristan, Bianca, Scarlette, Cadan, Atlas, Kylen; sisters: Lois Carlson, Rosie Klemetsen; brother: Allan Klemetsen; sister-in-law: Evelyn Castle; brother-in-law: Hugh (Bonnie) Miller; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Lyle was proceeded in death by his wife: Caroline; son: Darcy; daughter: Christine; parents: Klemet and Rose; brothers: Darrel, Ross, Donald, Mylan.
