Lucinda Rios DelAngel Figerroa, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on July 23, 2006. She was born on May 4, 1929 to Jose and Delores Rios in Taft, Texas. Lucinda was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Kennewick. She is preceded in death by her first husband Brigido DelAngel who passed away in 1970; son, Ricardo DelAngel and great grandson Jadin Alfonso Garcia. Lucinda remarried in 1987 to Felipe Figerroa. Mom was a very strong and brave woman, she never complained about anything. She survived open heart surgery in 1997 and other surgeries that followed. Gloria was her main caretaker and when she became very ill she never complained of pain. She cried because she would no longer be at family gatherings with her children, but never of pain. Several family members helped with mothers care. At the very end she held on to see a very dear friend who flew in from Pennsylvania who she loved as a son, Noe Leal Munoz.. A day and a half later she passed away. She has left an empty space in our hearts and that space will always be empty because that space belonged and will always belong to our mother, Lucinda DelAngel. Lucinda is survived by her children; Justo DelAngel and wife Linda, Ramon DelAngel and wife Pamela, Ruben DelAngel, Jose DelAngel, Balentin DelAngel and wife Beverly, Arnulfo DelAngel and wife Donna, Yolanda DelAngel and husband Alfonso Garcia, Rebecca DelAngel and Gloria DelAngel. Lucinda also leaves behind 42 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a brother, Francisco Rios. . There will be viewing on Thursday, July 27th and also on Friday the 28th of July both from 3:00p.m.to 8:00p.m. at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union in Kennewick. There will also be viewing at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral home on Saturday, July 29.th and Sunday the 30th from 1:00p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2006 at 10:00a.m there will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 520 S. Garfield in Kennewick.
