Loyd G. Daily, age 86, passed away December 1st, 2012, at Avalon Nursing Home in Pasco. Loyd was born January 12, 1926 at Saragossa, Alabama to Silas and Dora Idella Daily. Loyd was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, five sisters and one granddaughter. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rosemarie, sister Dortheen King of Townley, Alabama, four children Glen (Suzette), Mary Louise (Lyle), Robert James (Tina), Wayne Dwight (Cindy), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous other who knew him as grandpa. Loyd served in the Merchant Marines and United States Navy in World War II with honorable discharge. Loyd was a union welder of Local 598 for 63 years. The family wishes to extend warmest thanks to Avalon Health-Pasco and the Chaplaincy Hospice for the love and care in caring for our loved one. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 10th, at 11:00 a.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union in Kennewick, with viewing on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.
