Louis William "Bill" Odermott of Kennewick, Washington passed away peacefully of natural causes on January 2, 2022. Bill was born February 26, 1932 in Emmett, Idaho to Louis Odermott and Mary Elizabeth "Peggy" White. He is survived by his four children: Debra Lee (Dale) Sorensen, Louis "Robert" (Candy) Odermott, David Lynn Odermott, Trudy (Bob) Dodd. He left a fine legacy 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Dwight "Dee" Odermott and two sisters, Mary Alice Sappington and Anna Louise Stinemetz. Bill became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints while attending Meridian High School. In 1952, he married Doris Mae Fewkes of Cascade, Idaho in the Idaho Falls Temple. He served in the US Airforce for 4 years attaining the rank of Staff SSgt. He was stationed in Iceland during the Korean War and was also at George Air Force Base. He graduated from Brigham Young University, and later received a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Idaho. Some of the jobs he held include: Public Office Director for the City of Jerome, Idaho; City Manager for Sunnyside, Washington and asparagus farmer in Basin City, Washington. He was loved by all and served his community as a go-to can-do man. Interment in the Boise, Idaho State Veterans Cemetery with his beloved wife Doris.
