Obituary

Lorna F. Good, 74 passed away peacefully on June 16, 2016 with her husband of 50 plus years and two sons by her side. Born June 18, 1941, she was the tenth child of thirteen born to Edward and Dora Miller in rural farm near Mohall, North Dakota. Edward and Dora died when she was eleven and thirteen, respectively, and her sister, Donna, then raised her until graduating high school in 1959. After graduation, she moved to Denver, CO and attended Hollywood Beauty College. Lorna invited her younger sister, Joann, to live with her in Denver in 1963 and paid for her schooling and all expenses until she was able to make her own living. She then continued a long career as a Stylist in Denver, CO and Kennewick, WA until her retirement. Lorna and Donald E. Good met on a blind date and were married on January 29, 1966 by Monsignor Moran in St. John's Catholic Church, Denver CO. Attendants where Joann, Maralane, Bill, and Han's with many family and friends in attendance. This marriage was blessed with two sons, Mark and Mike. The family moved to Kennewick, WA in 1977 where she focused on raising her immediate family and was also very involved with extended family throughout her life. She became reacquainted with her oldest brother, Dick, and family in Omak, WA where they spent many visits and holidays throughout the years. She also spent time caring for him, and sister, Lois, in Seattle, WA through their serious illnesses. Family became even more important with the addition of daughters-in-law, Michelle, and (now ex.) Melissa. They produced the joys of her life-grandchildren Tyler, Lindsay and Justin! She spent much happy time attending their many school, sports activities and caring for them whenever possible. Her many interest included maintaining her home, shopping, camping, boating, fishing and spending time at her family's weekend home by Lake O'Sullivan and especially the annual crabbing trips to the Oregon Coast. She enjoyed many trips to ND, CO, AZ and NV to share time with family and friends she loved. She is survived by her husband, Don, sons Mark and Mike (Michelle), grandsons Tyler and Justin, granddaughter, Lindsay, sisters Joann, Darlene, Colette, and brother, Terry, and many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Thursday, June 23rd, 7:30 p.m. and Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S.
