Loretta Jean Ortega passed away peacefully August 17, 2025

Loretta was born in Los Angeles, CA September 15, 1944.

Loretta was an X-Ray Technician; she worked at Betty Ford Health Center for over 20 years. Loretta moved the Tri-Cities, WA over 15 years ago with her furry dog Roo and her 2006 red Ford Escape Limited. Loretta enjoyed volunteering at Lourdes Health Center. She was an associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, Los Angeles Province. Cooking for the sisters as St. Joseph's convent in Kennewick WA, helping with the yard sale, visiting with the sisters from Lewiston ID and going to Catholic Shrines brought Lorretta much JOY.

Loretta is survived by her son Oscar Torres, granddaughters Angelica Torres & Angelina Torres, cousins Rita Delgado & David Hayes & wife Tyna, friend Caroline Zipp and her last furry dog Kanga.

She was preceded in death by her father James Kessinger, mother Angelina, brother Paul, and furry dog Roo.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. Patrick's church in Pasco WA on October 10, 2025 at 1:00pm. Inurnment in Palm Springs, CA.
