Obituary

A true southern gentleman, Korean War Veteran, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to everyone he met, went to be with our Lord on April 17, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Loren was born January 29, 1936 in Delaney, Arkansas. Loren was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Oren and Ila Blanche Patrick Taylor, wife, Josie Taylor, grandson, Heath Paul Hickman, and sister Doris Ann Heilig. He is survived by daughters: Vicki Jackson and husband Scott Jackson of Sammamish, WA, Dawn Hickman and Al Mouncer of Richland, WA, Gina Reilly and husband Tom Reilly of Helena, MT, and son Patrick Taylor of Kennewick, WA. Grandchildren Brooke Hickman and Drew Akker, Laci Hickman, Jordan Jackson, and Kaitlin Jackson; great-grandchildren Aeden and Blakely Grandinetti. Raised with Loren and considered siblings aunt Jerri Goyne and cousin Jackie Sue Brashears; brother David Taylor and wife Sharon; brother-in-law Robert Krottner and wife Beatrice, sister-in-law Irene Dee; numerous nieces and nephews, longtime friends George and Ali Dockstader, and special friend Bobbe Burnside. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Thursday, April 20th, 2017, 5:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union St., Kennewick. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 21st, 2017, 2:00 p.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church (new) with interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Reception to follow at Dillon Hall at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Callaway Gardens Alzheimer's Special Care Center, in honor of Loren Taylor, 5505 W. Skagit Ct., Kennewick, WA 99336.
