Our beautiful beloved mother, Lois Garretson, after a long and always on the go life, left this earth to be with her God and Savior and her family who passed before her. Even though we selfishly wanted her to live forever, God said it was too much for her little body to take and we had to let her go. She lived a long and loving life. We will miss and long for her every day, until we join her in heaven when our time comes. Our mother was one of the busiest moms you could ever meet. She kept herself busy raising her children, cooking, cleaning, gardening, crocheting, and painting. She loved going to yard sales, shopping, and Wildhorse. One of her favorite activities she looked forward to doing was going to bingo with her daughter and constant companion Cathy and her son Will. Our mother's life was full with family and gatherings. She bore ten children, two of which passed away at the young age of five: daughters, Brenda Faye and Tammy Lynn. She leaves behind her sons and daughters, William Garretson and his family Brenda Dean, Linda and George Hageman, Rodney Garretson and their families; Marc and Rita Garretson and their family Aileen and Chris Hammock, Nathan and Jessica Garretson, Marcus and Andrea Garretson and their families; Priscilla Garretson and her son Jacob and Dashka Garretson and their family; Patricia Garretson and her son Adam Garretson; Cathy and Tom Welker and their son Dennis and Sarah Brownsworth and their family; Kevin and Helen Garretson and their son Jonathan Garretson; Kenneth and Holly Garretson and their sons Jeffrey and Daniel Garretson; Paul Garretson and his dog Bear; nephew Larry Garretson; daughter-in-law Donna Garretson; she had over thirty great and great-great-grandchildren. We love and miss you mom and know you are in heaven taking care of everyone and keeping busy. Thank you for all you did for us. And a special thanks to Will and Paul for being there for mom every day and helping to take care of her. There will be a graveside service Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2 PM at Riverview Heights Cemetery at 1200 S. Olympia St. in Kennewick. A private viewing will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Mueller's Chapel of Falls at 314 W 1st Ave in Kennewick.
