Lloyd Gean Brown

On Thursday December 28th, 2023, after living a full and vibrant life, Lloyd G Brown passed away at the age of 90 years old.

Lloyd was born to Jimmy and Annie Belle Brown in Spur Texas on January 21st 1933.

His family moved to Washington State during WW 2 residing in Vancouver and then to the Tri-City area to farm as a young boy.

While working for the Northern Pacific Railroad as a Fireman, he met his love of life Shirley S Swearingen in 1960. Together in 1965 they discovered their Entrepreneurial skills by starting a general contracting business. They purchased their own ranch to eventually develop the Loma Vista Estates in Tenino Washington as well as raise their blended family of 6 children. Steve, Stan, James, Teresa, Doug and Dirk.

Lloyd's un-ending energy was fun loving, youthful and exciting to his family and friends. He seemed to be the life of the party wherever he went. He loved being with family and all of the functions that went with it. Lloyd loved Hunting, Fishing and classic firearms. He was mechanical, good with his hands and shirked intimidation when taking on huge job challenges or adventures. His personality was bigger than life!!

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. Father James C Brown, Mother Annie Belle, Brothers Herschel, James, Willie and sister Charlsie. He was the last of that wonderful generation.

He is survived by his Wife Shirley. His Daughter Teresa. Sons Steve, Stan, James, Doug and Dirk as well their families, grand children and numerous great grandchildren.

Services are to be held at Mueller Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick Washington on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1 pm, with burial to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick
