Lindy Lou Allessio was born in Voss, Texas on August 5, 1928 and passed away at Squire Adult Residence in Kennewick, Washington on August 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy and daughter, Debby. She was the daughter of Floyd and Faye Creek and then John and Faye Lamb from Walla Walla, Washington. She had no siblings. She married Rudolph Allessio on November 15, 1947 in Walla Walla, Washington at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. They resided in Richland, Washington from 1948 to 1989 where they raised their four children. They both worked at Hanford. She and Rudy spent their retirement years traveling the country and snow-birding. They eventually resided in Yuma, Arizona where they loved to spend time with their many friends. She loved life, she loved to go shipping with her friends and spending time at the movies. She loved to keep up with all the new tech gadgets. She was an avid collector of giraffes of all kinds. She spent her pre-retirement years as the chapter sweetheart in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She and Rudy had 4 children; Cynthia, Deborah (deceased), Janet and Richard. She had 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Whitley, Jennifer Anthony-Grizzel, Michael Allessio, Kristen Allessio, Christopher Anthony and Katie Allessio-Shick. She had 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. The service will be held at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home located at 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick Washington on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
