Linda Lois Robbins (Whited)

November 30, 1945 – October 26, 2023

Our sweet Linda passed away peacefully on October 26 in Kennewick, WA after a long battle with dementia. She was a kind and gentle lady who was loved by everyone. Linda did many extraordinary things in her life. She founded and ran Sky View High School in Kennewick, the first state accredited home school in WA, owned G & R Flowers, and volunteered on the Benton County Planning Commission.

Linda was born in Tacoma, WA to Lois and Calvin Whited of Yelm, WA. She was a sweet little girl with a love for animals. As she grew, she became involved in 4H, training service dogs and showing dairy cattle. Linda loved horses and spent many hours riding.

Linda graduated from Yelm High School in 1963. She was involved in everything from Yearbook Editor to Drill Team. She had a talent for sewing and was named best dressed her Senior year. In 1963 she married the love of her life, Ed Robbins. They shared 60 wonderful years together. In 1977 she found her beloved land in Hover, WA, and they built a home there. Linda and Ed raised three children on 'the hill' and shared many happy memories with family and friends. Linda and Ed could often be found at car shows re-living their teen years in their 1964 GTO.

Linda's family and memories were the most important things in the world to her, and she was the world to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Although we all dearly miss her, she now has her mind and memories back and can share in our lives once again. Linda didn't want a funeral, but rather requested that her loved ones spend a day with their families in her memory. So, we have set aside November 18 as a day to make a new memory with those you hold dear.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Whited and father, Calvin Whited. She is survived by her brother Dale Whited (Debbie), her devoted husband, Sidney Edward Robbins, her 3 children, Wendy Robbins (Chuck), Eddy Robbins (Katie), and Roxy Mason (Brent), 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
