Obituary

Linda Marshall, of Pasco, Washington, died of heart failure Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, following complications after hip replacement surgery. Born in Sheridan, Montana on March 30, 1943 to Lois and Wes Baril, Linda was family to many and a friend to all. She attended school in Sheridan and was married to Larry Eliason for fourteen years, with whom she had her first three children: Jody, Chad and Eric. She moved to Ritzville, WA when she was 30 years old and married Roger Marshall. Together they had two children: Andrea and Douglas. She moved to the Tri-Cities in 1981, where she worked as a bus driver for sixteen years for the Pasco School District, while serving as the president of their union for four years. After her driving career, she became an office administrator for Lewis Street Trailer. Linda was known for catching bigger fish than her husband, ceramics, playing Texas Hold' em at Sneakers Bar, traveling, visiting with her family and friends especially in Montana, and enjoyed her summers with her granddaughters. Linda is survived by her husband, Roger; her daughters Jody Pete Test of Driggs, ID and Andrea Marshall of Pasco, WA and her sons Chad Debi Eliason of North Bend, KS; Eric Eliason of Spokane, WA; Doug Jennifer Marshall of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; her sister Nina Woody Hiatt of Lincoln, MT; Muriel Don Swager of Hermiston, OR; brother Tag Terri Baril of Helena, MT; grandchildren: Trevor, Troy, Jessica, Megan and Mielle; numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces. The burial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Sheridan Cemetery in Sheridan, Montana. Memorial services will be planned for the near future, one in Pasco, WA and one in Sheridan, MT.
