Lillian "Tiny" E. McDonald, born June 27, 1923, our beloved mother of 5, grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 36, great great grandmother of 7, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 7, 2008. A long-time resident of 64 years in Richland & Kennewick, she served her community through the Women's Auxiliary VFW and her church. With her husband, Marvin McDonald, Sr., they raised their 5 children; Marvin Jr., Adrienne, Michael, Robert and Karen. With her husband she was one of the first members to induct the VFW Chapter 7954 in 1946 where she served as a board member, local, state and district president from 1946-2004. Lillian loved to travel world-wide. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 14, 2008, 5pm to 8pm, at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home located at 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th, 1pm to 3pm, at Desert Streams Bible Church located at 2505 Duportail Street in Richland. The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, to please give a "gift" to Give Kids the World for children with life-threatening illnesses or disabled veterans. A donation box will be available at the memorial service.
