Lillian Theodoras Homme Beggs was born July 26, 1927 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota to Christopher and Sarah Nessen. Lillian left this life on April 8, 2016. She married Ole Homme in 1946 and together they raised three children. Lillian and Ole lived in Alaska while Ole helped build the AI-Can Highway. In 1954 they moved to Kennewick. Lillian and Ole were founding members of The Sons of Norway Sol-Land Lodge in the 1960's. She enjoyed the trip to Norway she and Ole took and never stopped talking about it. After 40 years of marriage Ole died on April 8, 1986. In 1993 she found love again and married Lee Beggs in Las Vegas, Nevada. They continued to enjoy trips to casinos and dancing at the Eagles. They were married 14 years before his death in 2007. Lillian held various jobs throughout her life but her favorite job and love was taking care of her family. She enjoyed trips to Minnesota to visit her family. She retained a bit of the Minnesota accent, and enjoyed a trip to Iowa to see her grandson get married. She loved telling stories about her childhood and how life was back then in Minnesota and we loved hearing them. She was a long time member of Kennewick First Lutheran Church and very much enjoyed and appreciated the visits by her Stephen Ministers Art Raasch and Eileen Posey. She is survived by her three children, Lorae Buck, Ted Homme (Kathy), and Julie Homme. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th and Union Street, Kennewick. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her honor to Kennewick First Lutheran Church.
