Lester Lee Dixon passed away Thursday evening, May 14, 2009 in Pasco, Washington. He was born to Edna Dixon on August 6, 1958, in a suburb of Seattle, Washington. At age fourteen, Lester joined the Job Corp. A few years later, he decided to join the Air Force. He served in the Air Force from May of 1976 to May of 1980 in Honolulu, Hawaii and Great Falls, Montana. While in Great Falls, Montana, Lester met Deborah Knapstad. They were married on August 23, 1980, and soon after, moved to Tri Cities, Washington. Lester and Deborah made a life together for twenty-eight years. Lester enjoyed building and working with computers, photography and fishing. He also received great pleasure performing maintenance duties at Wynnwood because it gave him the opportunity to interact and visit with the elderly. Lester is survived by his wife, Deborah Knapstad Dixon and his mother-in-law, Lucille Knapstad, of Tri Cities, Washington, as well as four brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his mother Edna Dixon, and his father, Harry Dixon. The visitation and funeral service will be held at Croxford Funeral Home in Great Falls, Montana with burial to follow.
