LEROY EDMUND DICKENSON
On Monday July 10, 2023, Leroy Edmund Dickenson went home to be with the Lord at the age of 90.
Born March 3,1933 to Robert and Daisy Dickenson in Pine Grove Oregon. As a toddler he moved to Portland, age 5 he moved back to the mountain home in Pine Grove until he was 8, then moved to Pendelton, moving to Stanfield where he finished High School.
Leroy joined the Navy in 1952 and served on the USS Jason. He left the Navy in 1956 and was a reserve for another 4 years.
Leroy married Dostie Earl Dickenson on August 3,1957 and together raised 4 children. They had a great life and loved each other so much. Leroy took great care of his wife, and she took great care of him, especially these last few years.
Leroy and his brothers owned BL&R Construction in the Tri-cities then Leroy moved to Hermiston started River Road Construction with his brother Rodney, in 1984 Leroy and Dostie hit the road traveling in their RV all over the U.S. building Golden Corral Steak houses until they settled in the Tri-Cities in 1997 living in Pasco and now Burbank.
Leroy is proceeded in death by his parents Robert and Daisy Dickenson, sisters Lavonne Petty, and Rosalie Kornoly, his two brothers Bob Dickenson and Rodney Dickenson. He is survived by his wife Dotsie Dickenson, his sisters Merilyn Pullen (Bob), Patricia Ralston (Dave) and Colleen Lee (Dave) his children Pam (Dan) Harrington, Randell (DeAnna) Dickenson, James (Terri) Dickenson, Michael Dickenson, 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
