Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather Lee VanCao, age 70 of Kennewick, WA, passed away surrounded by love ones on February 16 , 2021 at 9:03pm, two and a half months after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. Lee was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friends to many. Lee was born and raised in Long Xuyen, Vietnam and came to America in 1978 in pursuit of a better life for his family. Lee made many sacrifices that most people couldn't have imagined. Lee landed his first job in America at IBP or better known as Tyson Foods. He worked his way up to the management staff and was well respected and admired by many of his peers. Lee was very fortunate to have continued with this career; and with his position, he was able to help countless Vietnamese families with their first job in America. After 40 years, Lee retired from Tyson Foods with admiration and appreciation, being recognized for his superior commitment and great service. Lee was a devoted Husband to Diep Nguyen, Father to Tuyet Ngoc, Tuyet Hang, Tuyet Minh and AnhTuan Cao, Grandfather to Leeanna, Jason, Lillian, Sydney, Courtney, Mason, Ella, Alexander and Nathan. Lee was loved and cherished by his family. Lee instilled the following beliefs in his family as core values: LOVE, HONOR, RESPECT, and SUPPORT for one another. Lee was a firm believer of family time and he loved this tradition of spending time together to bond with one another. Lee's Family will miss him immensely. We will always love Lee and we will continue to love, honor, respect, and support each other in his memory.
