In loving memory of Leah C. Wegner 4/27/27-7/27/17 On July 27, 2017 Leah Wegner went to be with our Lord & Savior. She was born in Fromberg, Montana on 4/27/27 by Valentine & Leah Haman. She was the 2nd oldest of 8 children. Her brother introduced her to the love of her life Albert Wegner. They married on 4/16/48. They moved to the Yakima valley from Montana in 1952. They drew a farm unit in the Columbia Basin in 1963 & moved to the basin, where they were one of the 1st homesteaders in Block 23 near Basin City. She was an avid gardener, and canned food out of her garden. She loved the outdoors. She worked alongside her husband & children. She loved to travel to see her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh & it was contagious. She was fondly known as 5' 2" & eyes of blue. She loved music, her favorite station was KORD. She loved the color purple, root beer floats, milkshakes, & taking pictures. She loved spending time with her children & grandchildren. She will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert, & 1 great granddaughter. She is survived by her children Bob, Lindy (Duane Lanman), Jim (Missie), Suzi, Glenn (Christy), & Debbie. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, & 2 great great grandchildren The family would like to extend a special thank you to Chris & his staff @ Serenity Cove.
