King Quirk Tran, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025. He was a loving and caring family man who always placed them above all else, helping whenever and whatever with all their needs. He was born April 26, 1942 in Hung Yen, a small town in northern Vietnam. He served during the Vietnam war in the South Vietnamese army, fighting alongside the U.S. military.

After the war, he immigrated to the United States in 1986, residing in California for several years. He then moved to the Tri-Cities in 1990, making this small community his permanent home. Trying to find a place to work, he ends up working at Tyson Foods from 1990-2005. In his spare time, he would enjoy spending time with his son and his family, while also making friends and helping out the local Vietnamese community.

He is survived by his wife, Dang Thi Phuong, 5 children; Lien Tran, Thuy Tran, Hanh Tran, Khoi Tran and Nguyen Tran and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends.
