Kerry Cooper was born to Mildred and Paul Cooper in July of 1949.  He was

the last of three children, and by all accounts his appearance was an

unscheduled event.  Early life for Kerry was anything but easy.  He often

would have to find creative ways to procure food, and found himself given

the task of self-governance.  He raised a lot of Hell as a young adult,

though eventually signed up for the military so as to avoid being drafted

into a worse position in the Vietnam war.  He married his first wife,

Linda, in 1969.  The two produced three children; Patrick (born 1970), Erin

(born 1972) and Bridget (born 1974).  Time continued forth and Kerry

married his second wife, Barbara, in 1977.  That marriage produced two

additional children; Frank (born 1981) and Betsy (born 1984).  Again, life

continued on and Kerry eventually married his third and final wife, Carol,

in 1991.  The two would spend the rest of their respective lives together

until the passing of Carol in 2022.  Kerry was a lover of life, beer,

sports and rock 'n roll.  He had proclaimed many times throughout his life

that the first taste of beer in his youth brought a tear of happiness to

his eye.  Even though he was never taught how to be a father, he still

provided valuable advice to his children, colored with unorthodox parenting

techniques, but always with a sense of love and caring... and a shared,

deep love for music.  Paramount in Kerry's life was the pursuit of

adventure.  He enjoyed travelling with his third wife, seeing MLB games

across the country, and much more.  Kerry and Carol eventually moved away

from his hometown of Kennewick, though years later found their way back

into town and took the opportunity to further bond with their numerous

grandchildren.  The last year of Kerry's life was a challenge.  The sudden

loss of his wife to cancer was an emotional burden that he struggled to

bear. Though he did seem to find at least a modicum of peace with the

situation in his last days.  Kerry passed unexpectedly on the 28th of

November.  He is survived by his two ex-wives, five children and eleven

grandchildren.  His personality was undeniable.  His humor was razor

sharp.  His words held weight.  His impact was mighty.  He will be sorely

missed by those lucky enough to have known him.
