In loving memory of Kenneth Rex Nicol

Kenneth Rex Nicol, age 64 passed away on the evening of July 8, 2024, Ken was born October 16, 1959 to the parents of Beverly Joan Horrocks and John Nicol in Provo, Utah and was also raised by his stepfather Terold Horrocks.

He has 11 siblings, Nick, Cindy, Julie, Russ, Tony, Christie, Rick, Shelly, Mike and Tammy, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his wife Arlene Nicol who he was married to for 25 years since May 14, 1999. She was the love of his life. Ken and Arlene were introduced by his mom Beverly and have been inseparable ever since. He is preceded in death by his mom Beverly, dad Jonny Nicol, stepdad Terold Horrocks, brother Nick Nuttal, grandma and grandpa Nicol, Grandma and grandpa McClure and his best friend Monty Gibbs.

Out of high school, he joined the Marines with his best friend on the buddy system, and Ken earned his pistol sharpshooter badge along with his rifle expert badge, he was a Lance Corporal E3. Ken loved his 80's rock and roll music. His hobbies were karate and martial arts, camping, fishing and being with his family in the great outdoors. He was also known for his comical sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.

Ken will be missed and remembered by many.
