Kenneth Charles Maike, 79, of Kennewick, passed away on December 5, 2012. He was born July 14, 1933 in Flint, Michigan. Ken founded and retired from Professional Training Center in Pasco in 1990 and served as owner and instructor. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 22 years. He was active in the Knights of Columbus for many years and attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He will be missed by his loving wife of 34 years, Arlene; surviving children Charles Maike, Shirley Maike and Beth Islip; stepsons, Jim Colvin & Curtis Colvin; stepdaughter, Teresa Fetch; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, James Maike; sister, Judy Cooper; and sister-in-law, Pauline Brink. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Maike; his mother, Nellie Johnson Maike; and his sons, Kenneth Maike & Donald Maike; brother, Thomas Maike; and sister, Barbara Adams. We will miss seeing the world through your quirky sense of humor. Thank you for teaching each of those you loved to not take life too seriously. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at 1:30 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union in Kennewick, with Father Richard officiating. No flowers please.
