Kenneth Stephen Ault was born in Laramie, WY on May 2, 1948. He was raised in Kennewick Washington and graduated from Kennewick High School in 1967. His career began in the Pasco Post Office working as the Superintendent of Postal Operations. He then transferred as Postmaster to Brookings, Oregon and then promoted to the Pendleton Post Office as the Postmaster, where he retired with 34 years of service. Ken was diagnosed with end stage liver failure in 2004 and was on the liver transplant list at the University of Washington Medical Center. His battle ended on January 25, 2007 while surrounded by his loved ones. Ken's favorite hobbies were riding his Harley, camping with his family and working on home projects. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the Infantry while enlisted in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Ault III. He is survived by his mother Charlotte Ault, Father Robert Ault, brother Gene Ault, sisters Glenna Hoshal and Sherry Kordulla. His immediate family includes his wife, Gail Ault of Umatilla OR, son Aron Ault of Eugene OR, daughters Jodi Torrance and Jami Farquhar of Brookings OR, Jone't Arlandson of Grants Pass OR and Jenny Beers of Crescent City CA and 9 grandchildren. A Memorial Service has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 6:30 pm at Mueller?s Tri Cities Funeral Home located at 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick, Washington.
