Kathryn Miller, 92, died July 5, 2010. Kathryn was born Kathryn Dorthea Engelke on June 8, 1918 in Ely Nevada, to John Charles Engelke and Eva Morris. Proceeding Kathryn in death were 3 husbands, Harold Ryan, Stuart Mayfield, and Edgar Miller. Kathryn has 4 surviving children --- Morris Ryan of Richland, Washington, Josephine Rutkowski of Gardnerville, Nevada, James Ryan Mary of Lovelock, Nevada, and, Craig Mayfield Su of Kennewick, Washington; three surviving step children: Stuart Mayfield Kelly of Las Vegas, Nevada, Gary Miller Judy of Yakima, Washington, and Maureen Woodward Nolan of Kennewick, Washington. Kathryn has 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She worked as the head bookkeeper for the El Capitan Casino in Hawthorne, Nevada. Kathryn was also a talented pianist and played in various bands and taught piano lessons for many years. She played the organ at her church. She was an accomplished bridge player, and enjoyed her competition players at the Canyon Lakes Manor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice at the Chaplaincy at 2108 W.
