It is with great sorrow to announce Kathleen "Kathy" Kissick, 81, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025.

Kathy was born on April 17, 1944, in Seattle, Washington, to Thomas and Margaret Flanagan. She cherished her childhood in Seattle and shared many fond memories with her brother, Gary. At the young age of 16, she married her first husband, Joseph Horst. Together they built a life in western Washington and were blessed with five children.

Kathy worked in the banking industry throughout her career, spending most of her years with U.S. Bank before retiring in 2004. In 1981, she married the love of her life, Larry Kissick, and they shared many happy years together until his passing in 2012.

Family was the heart of Kathy's life. She is survived by her five children: Joseph Horst, Melanie Ossman, Conni O'Donnell, Gary Horst, and Steven Horst; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, as well as her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Riverview Seventh-day Adventist Church in Pasco, Washington, on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

A devout Seventh-day Adventist Christian, Kathy will be remembered as a loving wife, caring mother, joyful grandparent, cherished family member, and loyal friend. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who knew her, she will be gratefully missed!
