Chuck and June Bilow "Together Forever" Charles (Chuck) and June are now back together after being apart for just five days. June R. Bilow passed away May 10th 2014. Chuck passed away May 15, 2014. They would have been married 67 years this coming June 17. They are survived by their children, David (Gail) of Endicott, WA, Daniel (Barb) of Auburn, WA, Steven (Jill) of Kennewick, WA, Diane Vanderveen of Cleveland, TN and Sherri Smith of Edmonds, WA, nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. June is also survived by her sister Wilma (Ed) Kamps of Denver, Colorado. Charles and June met while they were in school, but they were very proud to tell us they were dating "others" when they met. In 1947 Chuck and June were married. They lived a short time in Colorado and California before moving their family to Seattle, WA. Chuck worked for Boeing as an Electrical Engineer, June continued her nursing profession. They were both very involved in their children's lives with Scouting, Rainbow and DeMolay organizations. Chuck was also big into fishing and camping which led to many camping trips with the family. June involved herself a lot in bowling. Not only an avid bowler but she later became a Certified Lane Inspector, inspecting lanes after a perfect game was bowled. Once retired, they moved to Ocean Shores, WA, built a home and lived there for 18 years. In this time they became again involved in Eastern Star. They were very involved with the community and loved watching and feeding all the animals walking through their yard. They moved to the Tri-City area in 2012 to be near family. Her husband, Charles, was by her side. June was born May 29, 1924 to John and Zuella Robertson of Pueblo, Colorado. June lived her young life in Colorado. She graduated from Nursing School and worked as a nurse for the Canon State Penitentiary in Colorado and later for a home town doctor, also in Canon City, CO. In 1947 she married Charles Bilow. In the early 1950's they moved their family to Seattle, Washington where they raised five children. June was always active in her children's lives from Scouts, Rainbow and DeMolay. She was also an avid bowler and belonged to the Greater Seattle Women's Bowling Association; also a 50-year plus member of Eastern Star. After their retirement, Charles and June made their home in Ocean Shores, WA. They built a home and great friends in the community. In March of 2012 they moved to Richland, WA to be near family. June is survived by her husband of 67 years, her children David, Daniel, Steven, Diane and Sherri, sister Wilma Kamps, nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, May 17, 2014, 3 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union St., Kennewick. Charles F. Bilow Charles F. Bilow passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife June, just five days earlier. Charles is survived by his sons David, Daniel and Steven; and daughters Diane and Sherri. He also had nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, all who loved him dearly. Charles served in the United States Marine Corps for two years then continued his schooling, becoming an Electrical Engineer, graduating from Colorado State University. In 1947 he married June, and shortly thereafter, moved their family to Washington where they made their home in Seattle. Charles worked for the Boeing Company and retired in 1987. He was very active in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Rainbow and DeMolay with his children. Charles was an avid fisherman and loved taking the family on camp outings. Charles and June moved to Ocean Shores, Washington in the early 1990's. Both were very involved in their community and Eastern Star. Funeral services for Charles and June will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, 3 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick.
