Obituary

Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Judy Anne Nelson, passed away to her eternal reward to be with Jesus and Mary on January 8, 2013. She was born on May 21, 1942 in Port Angeles, Washington to Gordon and Helen Balch. As a girl Judy loved riding horses and had one named Trixie. Later the family moved to Chelan, WA. She graduated from Chelan High School in 1960. In Chelan her father opened a bowling alley with a lunch counter. It was while working at the lunch counter that she met her future husband, Terry. They were married in 1964 and moved to Kennewick. They had two sons, Brad and Brett. Judy loved working in her flower garden, cooking and baking, but most especially, she loved arts and crafts and was a very talented artist. Judy was a very loving person who was always helping others, especially children. Judy is survived by her husband, two sons, granddaughter Bree, and three sisters, Jane, Bessie, and Patty. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Kennewick. A scripture service will be held for Judy on Monday, January 14, 2013, at 6:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick. Her funeral will be Tuesday, January 15th, at 11:00 a.m., at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, on Clearwater in Kennewick. All are invited to attend both services.
