Judy
Anderson
Dec 12, 1960 — Jun 20, 2025
Judy Anderson, passed away peacefully on June 20th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Judy was born December 12th,1960 in Othello, Washington. She grew up in Connell Washington on a family farm. During her childhood Judy learned to work hard and the importance of family. She graduated from Connell High School in 1979. She attended college at EWU for a year then transferred to CBC and received her Associates Degree. Later in life, Judy went back to school for nursing, she received her degree in 2012.
Judy and Darryl Anderson were high school sweethearts. They got married on February 14th, 1981 in the Seattle Washington LDS Temple. They were blessed with five beautiful children. Michael Anderson (Brittany), Karie Strong (John), Randy Anderson (Jody), Alison Strong (Luke) and Morgan Calaway (Carson). While raising their children they worked very hard farming to provide for them. Judy was extremely supportive of her children. She attended every event and activity her kids were a part of. She taught by example the importance of serving others to her children. Her family was her everything.
Judy got to enjoy working alongside her children as she worked at Mesa Elementary. Once her children were raised she began her nursing career at Kadlec Hospital where she served and cared for many patients. She left a lasting impression on many. Judy was later blessed with fifteen grandchildren. She spoiled them rotten. She was the best grandma. She supported them in all their activities and passions. Even the few times she wasn't able to attend in person, she was the first to call to see how things went and show her love.
Judy loved to travel. She was always ready to plan the next adventure. Darryl and her had plans to visit all 50 states and they were very close to doing so. She went on so many fun trips and often brought along her loved ones. These memories are never to be forgotten.
Judy was such an amazing lady. She was very selfless and quick to put others before herself. She loved everyone around her and made it a point to make sure people felt welcome and seen. During her time at the UW hospital amongst her own trials in life she touched many with her strength and courage. Judy had strong faith and was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where we believe families will be together forever.
She leaves her Husband, Darryl Anderson. Son Michael, Brittany, Eleanor and Thea Anderson. Daughter Karie, John, Raegan, Kynleigh, Weston and Colter Strong. Son Randy, Jody, Emersyn, Brody, Tate, and Kane Anderson. Daughter Alison, Luke, Adaline, and Warren Strong. Daughter Morgan, Carson, Sutton, Cole, and Ainslee Calaway. She was truly loved by so many.
