Obituary

Judson "Tim" Mello

Beloved Husband and Father November 16, 1954 – May 12, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judson "Tim" Mello, a devoted husband, U.S. Army veteran, and faithful Catholic. Tim passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025, at the age of 70, surrounded by his family.

Born in San Diego, CA, on November 16, 1954, Tim served with honor for 25 years in the United States Army. He married his beloved wife, SaBina Mello, on June 20th, 1981, and together they built a loving, faith-filled life.

A devout Catholic, Tim's faith in Jesus Christ was a guiding force in his life. He was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where he found a deep sense of community.

Tim is survived by his wife, SaBina, and their three children: SaBina (Tristan), Mariah (Shane), and Joshua (Molly), as well as their thirteen grandchildren and extended family. Tim was an active Papa to his grandchildren and enjoyed fishing and camping with them. His legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Friday, June 20th, 2025, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, followed by a veteran's salute & sendoff at Mueller's Monument at 12:30 PM, and a reception afterwards. The dress code is American flag and red, white and blue to honor Tim and his service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul or Knights of Columbus.

Tim will be remembered for his love of family, his service to country, and his unwavering faith in Christ.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." – Matthew 25:23
