Judith Ann Schroeder, 83 years old passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 peacefully at home with her family. She was born October 9, 1940 in Mansfield, Ohio to Russell and Louise Kemp. She was the youngest of three children, her two brothers Lonnie and Gary, and parents proceeded her in death.

After graduating from Ashland High School in 1958, Judy attended St. Luke's School of Nursing receiving her RN degree. While working at St. Luke's a friend introduced her to Carl Schroeder. They were married a few short months later. Two children were born from this union.

Carl's job sent them around the United States where they finally landed in Richland, WA in 1977. Judy was an extremely caring person who continued her nursing career at Kadlec Medical Center and at Dr. Klein's Oral Surgery Center until retiring in 1995. Upon retirement, Judy and Carl traveled around the world, visiting every continent. Out of all the travels, Bora Bora and Mount Rainer were her favorite places.

Judy is survived by husband, Carl Schroeder Sr.; sons Carl Schroeder Jr. (Jill) and Michael Schroeder (MaryJo); grandchildren Jaryd, Jordan (Paola), Patrick and Jason. Judy will always be remembered as an energetic and adventurous person, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Judy was extremely involved in the Richland Lutheran Church, where she and Carl Sr. taught Sunday School for many years. To honor Judy, please join us for a Celebration of Life at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Richland Lutheran Church.
