Joyce Irene Stetzel, 77, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 15th, 2016 at 7:56 a.m. Joyce was born in Pasco, WA to Herbert & Mildred Epperly February 25th, 1939. She grew up and went to school in Pasco until her senior year where she graduated from Scappoose, Oregon before being married to Marlyn Stetzel on June 2, 1956. Joyce worked as a book keeper before retiring to be a homemaker. She loved family, sewing, playing cards with friends, playing the penny machines at casinos, and traveling and numerous cruises with her family. She was known for her generosity, bright smile, and making people feel welcome and important. Joyce is survived by her husband Marlyn of 60 years, daughter Vicki, grandsons Jake (Brittany) and Chris (De'Ann), great-grandchildren Tyzer, Jett, Jayden and Hensley. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son Roger. Joyce's celebration of life will be held Friday, October 21st, 11:00 a.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park on Union Street in Kennewick.
