Joseph Milton Ginter passed away November 30th, 2024, in Kennewick, WA, just one week shy of his 83rd birthday. He was born in Moscow, ID to Ada Mae (Groshong) and Benoni Graham Ginter on December 7th, 1941.

He was the 14th of 15 brothers and sisters, and the last to meet them in Heaven.

He lived in Moscow, ID until he entered the Milo Academy in Days Creek, OR. When he was 14, he left the Milo Academy and moved with the family to Mountain Home, AK.

He entered the Navy 3 weeks before his 18th birthday on November 16th, 1959. He was stationed at Naval Base Ventura County in Port Mugo, CA. He was honorably discharged on February 10th, 1961. He then moved back to Moscow, ID to help with harvest, and then to Kennewick in 1962.

He met Adeline "Nina" Large-Lujan in February 1962 in Kennewick, WA. He returned to Arkansas to work for 3 months and then moved to Belen, NM to be with Nina. He wanted her to meet his parents, so they made the drive to Mountain Home, AK. One week later, they drove 50 miles to Gainesville, MO to get married.

Joe and Nina were married on June 28th, 1963, in Gainesville, MO. Their marriage was blessed at St. Mary's Catholic church in Moscow, ID in 1968. Together they raised 7 beautiful children: Antoinette, Rubenna, Theodora, Teresa, Joseph, Julia Mae, and Cynthia Rae. Those 7 children blessed them with an abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even great great grandchildren.

Joe worked at Hanford in the construction trade when they returned to Richland, WA. He started work at Tri-City Aluminum, alongside Howard Bean, doing siding and roofing until 1982. He then opened his own construction and siding business; Ginter Enterprises. He worked that business until his retirement in 2002.

He was blessed on March 29th, 2000, with a new heart that granted him another 24 years of life.

Joe enjoyed crafting woodwork in his shop, spending quality time at the church as a member of the parish council, tending to his garden (especially his tomatoes), cheering on the Mariners and the Seahawks, going to local baseball games to watch his grandchildren play, and watching old westerns. Yet, more than anything, he adored spending time with his family who made him "the richest man alive".

Joe was proceeded in death by his parents, 14 siblings, and daughters: Mary Ernestine, Julia Mae and Rubenna Rosalie.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nina, his daughters, Ann Tucker (Chris), Teddi Ryzek (Jon), Teresa Robinson (Joe), Cindy Meyer (Kyle), and son, Joseph. As well as an astounding 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren with another on the way and 5 great great grandchildren with another on the way.
