Mr. Ward left us on February 23, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. John was born on July 25, 1944 to Robert and Ruth Ward in Algona, IA. John was a resident of Kennewick, Washington since 1960. He served in the Navy from 1963 through 1967. John was a very hard working man as an Electrician at Hanford for Local 112 and retired after 35 years. John married his wife of 34 years Carol Schubert. John was a very dedicated man to his family and co-workers. He is survived by wife Carol; daughter Holly Mark Kimmell; sons Zachery Weatherby, Chad Ashley Ward; sister Sharon; brother Dennis Sandra Ward; sister-in-law Bev Ward; grandchildren Jason Kimmell, Austin, Hannah and Spencer Weatherby; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Richard & Donald; and niece Laurie Hintz. Viewing will be Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 9:00am-11:00am at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am with Internment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Remembrances may be made to the National Arthritis Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
