On September 5, at the age of 78, John T. Tucker passed away in his sleep. He joins his mom, Leone Tucker, Dad, Cecil Tucker, and siblings, Bob Evans, Irene Crummett, and Marie Anderson in heaven. He is survived by his wife Leona Tucker, Daughter Kathy Reed, Son, Don Tucker, and step-daughter Ann Peterson, as well as 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. John was born on November 17, 1935 in Vale, Oregon. When J.T. finished high school he began driving a semi-truck, and drove all over the U.S. He married Nelda Hancock in 1956, and his daughter Kathy was born in 1957. His son Don was born in 1962. In 1970 John and his family moved to Tri-Cities. John started "3" Rivers Potato Services Inc. in 1978 and later divorced. In 1980 John and Leona met on the golf course. They married in 1981. John loved his family and friends; he also loved being a Pampa to his grand kids. We will be celebrating John's life on September 20th at 3:30pm. In true J.T. style, we will hold the celebration in a potato storage at 3445 Selph Landing Rd. Storage 2, building A in Pasco. Please dress casual.
