John Salinas passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024, at Kadlec hospital in Richland, WA after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. John was born on January 19, 1951, in Matador Texas to his parents George and Rosa Salinas. John completed his studies up to the 12th grade and studied business management in modern business college for one year. John dedicated his life as a general labor, as a truck driver, warehouse man, car detailer and then he retired from the Pasco School District in 2007. Beyond his professional life, John was an avid gardener, loved his flowers and trees, especially nectarine trees. John also enjoyed listening, singing, and playing his music, also enjoyed cooking and having family barbecues. He loved being around family.

John is survived by his wife, Adella Salinas of 55 years; Children Monica, Johnny, Raymond, and Christopher Salinas, all from the Tri-Cities. Sisters, Mary McTigue, Cathy Livas, Angie Salinas, and Linda Salinas, brothers Charlie and George Salinas other family includes numerous Grandkids, Great Grandkids, and nieces and nephews. John Salinas and Rosa Padron, daughter Gracie Lynn Salinas. Sister Virginia Fernandez, Martha Gonzalez, Lydia Salinas, and nephew Sylvester Olnedo (Jr.)
