Jack passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at Trios Health, due to complications from surgery. He was a loving husband to Grace Lester, his wife of 51 years and loving father to three daughters. Jack was born in Seattle, WA to John E. and Eleanor Lester on July 27, 1934. He moved to the Tri-Cities when he was a freshman in high school. Jack graduated from Columbia High School in 1952. He worked at General Electric's Hanford Laboratory in research and development for 12 years and worked for Pacific Northwest National Laboratories for 30 years as a Senior Technician in the Materials Sciences Department, retiring in 1995. Jack is survived by his wife Grace; daughters Linda Baugh (Ken), Nancy Suite (Larry),Diane Ferris (Dave); grandchildren Christopher Baugh, Jennifer Baugh, Matthew Ferris, Jenna Ferris, Jeff Ferris; and great-grandson Jaden Baugh. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 9, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., at Parish of the Holy Spirit, 7409 W. Clearwater Ave, Kennewick. Viewing will be held Thursday, May 8th, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick.
