John Hackert, age 87, of Kennewick entered eternal life peacefully surrounded by his daughters at Hospice House Chaplaincy on Monday, September 30th, 2024. Funeral Services will take place at 10:30am on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7409 W. Clearwater Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336. Visitation will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 30 minutes prior to the services. John was born to Edwin and Genevieve (Kampa) Hackert on February 13th, 1937, in Minneapolis, MN. He married Janice Clinton and together raised 8 children. John served in the US Navy for 20 years. After retiring he drove a courtesy shuttle for Cavanaugh's Hotel in Kennewick. John was a member of Knights of Columbus.

He will be greatly missed. John is survived by his daughters; Beth Conley, Sharee (Steve) Kline, Kimberly (Grayson) Register, Theresa Hackert, Tina (Lroy) Brandner, Johnna (Scott) Lyda and 18 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 26 great great-grandchildren and 1 great great great-grandchild. John was preceded in death by his wife Janice (Clinton) Hackert and his sons; Kevin and Michael, grandsons Jeremy and Kevin and granddaughter Tiffany.
