John Lewis Douglas was born to Orval and Bernice Douglas on December 18, 1939 and passed into our Lord's arms on Sunday, September 19, 2021. John earned his Master's Degree in Mathematics and spent his career in technology working for Ford Aeronautics, Martin Marietta, General Electric, Lockheed and multiple startup companies in the Silicon Valley. John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Melanie Foy Douglas, four children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a Scout Master for many years in the Boy Scouts and considered this one of his highest accomplishments. John was a gentle person and a loving husband. He has joined a great cloud of witnesses, laid aside every weight and sin and has run with endurance the race that was set before him, looking to Jesus as the founder and perfector of our faith.
