John "Ryker" Beauchamp of Kennewick, age 22, died April 30, 2016, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Ryker was born on January 4, 1994, at Kennewick General Hospital, to Shelley and Ryan Beauchamp. He attended South Gate Elementary, Horse Heaven Hills Middle School, and Kennewick and Southridge High Schools. Ryker had a witty sense of humor and loved telling stories. His young cousins adored his storytelling and the way he teased them. He enjoyed golf and boating, and had a love for hunting, fishing and the outdoors that grew into a lifestyle. He also loved spending time with family and friends, and was devoted to his pets, including his dog, Remy. He especially looked forward to annual gatherings like summer vacations with the Beauchamp family and the Eby family's 4th of July celebration. Ryker was a hard worker and was proud of a fishing boat he'd purchased recently and planned to restore. In his free time, he enjoyed driving the backroads in and around his family's ranch in the Horse Heaven Hills. He hunted coyotes near Jump Off Joe every chance he could, and waited all year for deer camp (to sneak into Roger's Canyon.) Ryker will be in everyone's heart until we meet again. Ryker is survived by his parents, as well as brothers Jenner and Baylor Beauchamp, step-mother Kara Beauchamp, step-siblings Emma and Rowan McCord, grandparents and step-grandparents Ralph Eby, Kathy and Ted Homme, and Mike and Marcia Beauchamp, great-grandfather Ben Borgen, and great-grandmother Della Anderson, all of Kennewick. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Graveside services will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick, Saturday, May 7, at 11:00 a.m.
