Anastacio Perez Rosales, known by friends as Joe P. Rosales, 78, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Trios Hospital in Kennewick, due to complications from pneumonia. Joe was born to Santiago G. Rosales and Romona P. Rosales in Catrina, Texas, June 26, 1936. He attended Sunnyside High School and in 1953 joined the U.S. Air Force. He served eight years as a logistics specialist and traveled to many countries. He met his first wife, Elia (Ellie) Vilarreal and married in 1964 in Quincy. Together they had two sons, Roland James Rosales of Phoenix, Ariz., and Royden James Rosalez of Richland. On July 24, 1992 he married his second wife, Deanna Fuchas Decker. Sadly, in 2009, she passed away of ALS. He continued to be active in his step children's lives, Heidi, Sam and Deara. He was also active in the lives of his six step-grandchildren, Keagan, Oceanna, Avia, Maria, Samantha and Blaze. He is survived by his sons, Roland and Roy; his sister, Irma C. Martinez; brother, Art R. Cruz; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister, Casimira R. Cruz; and a brother, Francisco Garcia. Joe worked for 30 years in publication sales, creating many friendships that lasted throughout his life. He was a dedicated father, husband, grandfather and brother. He was known for his jokes and he will be missed and loved forever. Graveside services will be at Sunnyside Memorial Garden Cemetery, March 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. Friends are welcome to attend.
