Lenold Joseph Davidson passed away July 1, 2017 in his home near Eltopia, Washington. He is survived by his wife, Jean Marie Martin Davidson and his six children & their spouses: Nichole, Sarah and Ryan Davids and 3 children (Jack, Owen, and Charlie), Jennifer and Alex Rogerson and 2 children (Henry and Eliza), Hunter and Chelsea Davidson, Christian and Jennifer Davidson (baby boy coming in Sept.), and Alisyn. He was the youngest of 7 children and is survived by his 3 brothers and 3 sisters: Max & Louise Lee Merrill, Larry & Edna Davidson, Dave & Kaye Freeman, Neil & Mary Ann Skousen, Thane & Rhinda Davidson, and Mike & Dana Davidson. His father and mother, Lenold and Syble Davidson preceded him in death and Jean's father and mother as well. He has been welcomed to his heavenly home by them we are sure. Joe and Jean were married for time and eternity in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple on March 3, 1983. They reside near Eltopia, Washington and were members of the Columbia Basin Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Joe passed away peacefully in his sleep and will be missed by all who loved and knew him. He had a burning testimony of the Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved people and often said that we are in the building business as we love and build one another. He always tried to minister to "the one". He was quick to forgive and ask forgiveness. He was so optimistic even in times of hardship. The most precious things to him were his testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, his love of the Savior and his love of his eternal sweetheart, family and extended family. He loved his grandchildren so very much. He loved talking about his children and in his eyes they were almost perfect. He also loved talking about Heavenly Father's "Plan of Happiness for His Children". Joe was always so happy and seemed to be extra happy these past few months. He had a keen sense of humor---always quick to find something to smile or laugh about which was so contagious. He loved life and always anticipated the future. He lived in a "state of happiness" especially the last little while and he died the same way--happy and peaceful in his sleep.
