JoAn and Len Shure JoAn Katherine and Leonard "Len" John Shure passed away on October 23, 2015 in Union Gap, Washington. JoAn was born October 15, 1944 in Pasco, Washington to Gertrude and Joseph Pomada. She received a bachelor's degree from Western Washington University in Music Education. She also earned a Master's degree from the University of Southern Florida in Tampa in Vocal Performance. JoAn worked at Hanford as a radiation monitor. She received a degree from the Elijah House in Spiritual Counseling and she was an ordained minister for Full Gospel Fellowship. JoAn and Len were married January 4, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois. Len was born December 4, 1948 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Ella and Leo Shure. He received a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University in Business Management. He worked for the Franklin County Sheriff's Department as a sergeant at the Franklin County Jail. Visitations will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, November 6, 2015 from noon until 8:00 p.m. at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home, 1608 W. Court St. in Pasco. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Point Church, 1915 N. Rd. 84, Pasco, Washington with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland, Washington.
