Joan Lee
Jordan
Mar 4, 1952 — Apr 30, 2025
Joan Lee Jordan was born March 4th, 1952 in Richland, Washington to Lucille and Allen Hinkson. Joan's battle with cancer ended with her death on April 30th, 2025 in Richland. Joan lived most of her life in the Tri Cities. She married Ken Jordan in 1970 and they raised two wonderful sons, Clint and Joey Jordan whom she loved deeply. She was very proud of her boys.
Joan worked in several fields during her career but they all had a common focus, helping people. Her favorite work experience was helping and teaching children with special needs. She loved those kids and made a positive difference in their lives.
Joan loved her grandchildren, Reilly, Cole, Cammie, Tucker, Marloh and Reid Jordan. Joan and her grandkids loved to have a good time. Blowing bubbles, dancing with the dogs, trips to Zipps & McDonalds, and many other fun activities were the norm. Joan's laugh was contagious. Her favorite color was Red and she loved to say, "I love you to the moon and back!" Joan made friends very easily and she will be missed by many.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents Lucille and Allen Hinkson and her brother Gary Hinkson. She leaves behind her brother John Hinkson, her sons Clint and Joey Jordan and their families, her former husband Ken Jordan and Wilson her beloved Yorkshire Terrier. She also leaves behind many dear friends, neighbors, and family members. She loved you all and cherished your time together. Joan will be joining her mom, dad, brother Gary and best friend Diane and others in Heaven. If you listen carefully, you can already hear the laughter.
