Jim Hiner, (Jimmy), a man with a strong mind and work ethic passed away comfortably in his home with his daughter Connie Jackson-Neland and his great granddaughter June Ann by his side on May, 20 2017 in Kennewick, Washington. He was born on January 14, 1930 in Kansas. Jim was known in the community and was a race car driver #54 back in the days and a mechanic up till he decided to retire and rest in his home where he had lived with the love of his life for 45 years and are together again hand in hand. He was preceeded in death by his wife, June W. Hiner; brother, Buck Hiner; sister, Charlotte Eaton and Juanita Griffin; son, Jimmy Hiner, Jr.; Grandson, Zacary Hiner; son-in-law, James Neland; and both his parents Ethel and Ralph Hiner. Jim is survived by his four children, Jim O'neil of California, Dennis Hiner, Sr. of Montana , Dave Hiner of Washington, and Connie Hiner Jackson-Neland of Washington; his beloved fur baby, Suezet of Washington; and grandchildren, great grandchildren. Jim enjoyed and was very proud of every one of his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild, even though he didn't say it, he loved them all very much and thought of them often. He loved visiting with them and story-telling was on the menu. I know we lost a wonderful soul in the living but we learn in death and we live .. you will truly be missed and above all never forgotten be at peace with your Love .
